Between the stunning beaches of the Northumberland coastline with it's many Castles and historic buildings and The Cheviots Hills with stunning walks lies our beautiful barn conversion.
Edinburgh is a scenic train ride away for many historical places to see and festivals to visit.

This easily accessible barn-conversion is located in the picturesque countryside near Berwick Upon Tweed. A short drive away from the main A1 trunk route.

The barn is ideally placed for those wishing to relax in comfortable and modern surroundings whilst being able to enjoy walks among the many rivers, hills and beaches.

An enclosed garden courtyard is perfect for bbq's and plenty of garden furniture for sitting in the evening sun.

This is the fifth consecutive year that we have stayed here. It is ideally situated for trips to the local town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, enjoying city life in Edinburgh and the lovely beaches of Northumberland. We are very happy with the accommodation, it has private parking, a lovely spacious lounge, large well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, the downstairs toilet is...

Bamburgh Castle, Cragside (the first house in the world to have hydro electricity. Berwick Upon Tweed Town Walls and Barracks, The Honey Farm, The Farne Isles, brilliant for bird watching. Boat trips available from Seahouses. Holy Isle and Lindisfarne Castle a beautiful place to visit and watch the tide come in.
Loads of Golf Courses in the area that welcome guests.
Getting around
A visit to Edinburgh is a must and can be started from Berwick Rail Station. You travel relaxing with your coffee and cake along the coastal route and the views are amazing. Or if you want to go in the opposite direction you can go to Newcastle instead. Same again coastal route with views.

From the South. M1- A1 at the first roundabout on the A1 at Berwick Upon Tweed go straight ahead. Take the next road to your left towards Duddo and Etal. Continue on this road for 2.8 miles until you see the The Plough on The Hill Pub and Restaurant on your right, take the left turn just before the Pub towards Ancroft. 1/2 a mile down this road we are on your right hand-side.
