The Briar Rose is a very comfortable well equipped bungalow with ample parking space in an excellent location for those wishing to explore the variety of sights, activities and cultural events the area has to offer. On the cusp of Durham and Tyne & Wear it is equidistant between Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle

The bungalow has a large well equipped modern kitchen diner, and a modern bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle. The kitchen opens onto a south facing patio and sheltered garden for those relaxing moments. The bungalow is very comfortably furnished throughout.

We booked Briar Rose for 10 days so that we could visit friends and family in the NE .It was a spotless very well equipped . The kitchen was brilliant if you like to self cater. My daughter and Granddaughter enjoyed the sunny garden ....More

By car, travelling from North or South on the A1(M), take exit Junction 63 Chester-Le-Street turnoff, and take the A183 signposted to Sunderland. Drive for 4.5 km to the first roundabout, take the second exit then the first road on the right into the estate. Take the second left and the property is located in Briar Lea, a short distance on the right.
Cars may be parked on the drive and also on the street.
