Wir verbrachten erholsame Urlaubstage in diesem kleinen, typischen Cornish Cottage. Es ist sehr gut eingerichtet. In der Nähe befinden sich schöne Strände zum Baden oder man wandert die fantastische Küste entlang. Das Essen in dem Dorf-Pub war lecker. Wer Ruhe und viel Natur sucht, der findet sie. Die Besitzerin hilft gerne bei Fragen. Wir haben es genossen und können es sehr empfehlen.

After spending several days with family, it was a fantastic location to have personal time and recharge. The accommodation was perfect, clean well maintained and fully equipped, not to mention the beautiful location. Easy access to coastal paths and short walk to a friendly local pub the Halzephron. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights and had a lovely stay. Amanda was really helpful and accommodating and even gave us a little tasty cream tea on arrival. The Old Ration Shop is within walking distance of the Halzephron pub which serves great food and drink and there is an amazing beach down by Church Cove. This is a perfect place to stay as a couple and would definitely stay again, when we come to Cornwall again. Thanks again Amanda :) Dean

we loved the peaceful and lovely little cottage - perfect location close to Coastal Path - and we enjoyed the friendly sheepdog who visited us frequently

The cottage was very clean and nice decorated. Well equipped and the bed and linens were great. The little garden with exotic flowers is delightful. Everything to feel comfortable. Just a short walk to the coast path and a good pub. Amanda and her husband are lovely hosts. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

We had a relaxing break at the Old Ration Shop. The house is really well styled and comfortable, with a cute garden area and garden room with log burner. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, with beautiful sunsets. The local pub was a suntrap with good food. We had a mix of weather, but enjoyed walks in each direction along the coastal path. Porthleven was particularly nice. Thank you Amanda for your thoughtful treats and hospitality.

Beautifully presented property in a superb location for exploring all the wonderful beaches and walks around Lizard. The house is just 10 mins walk from a lovely sandy beach and the south west coastal path. Thoughtfully equipped with every thing you would need for a comfortable stay. Delightful private garden and pub serving good food 5 mins walk away. Friendly and helpful hosts.

A cosy little cottage with beautiful decor. Just a short walk to the local beaches and pub which does good food. Within easy access of the Lizard, Helford and the surrounding areas.

Gunwalloe is a great location to stay in this part of Cornwall. Lots to do all around - wonderful walks, coast line, hidden harbours, great restaurants - brilliant. The Old Ration Shop is a little jewel box (you wouldn't want to be very tall or large!) very cute, lovely design, clean as a whistle and beautifully kitted out. It has a private little backyard with a table to eat in during the summer, and nice and cosy in the winter. Amanda was a lovely host - we didn't meet, but nice to know they are there if needed. all in all, highly recommended.
