We stayed in a lovely little chalet and used as a base. Comfortable and clean. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise treat.

The chalet is quaint.. small but perfectly formed and good value for money. There are no ammeneties on site, but the location is good for travelling to nearby landmarks and there is a big Sainsbury's quite close by for supplies. There were a couple of small things that needed a little attention, but it is possible that due to lockdown this lovely little chalet has been unused for some time?.. When we first arrived at the lodge there was a musty damp smell, and some of the rooms had small areas of mould. The window in the twin room has no catch so doesn't secure and one window in the living room doesn't open at all. The bedside table was also broken when we arrived, though we didn't need it so it wasn't an issue for us. The cooker seemed a little temperamental, but that could have just been us not knowing for sure how to use it? Overall all though, great value for money and with a little tlc I'm sure anyone would love staying here, just as we did! The owner was very helpful and friendly and the fresh scones with jam and cream was a nice touch too!

Excellent little chalet at a very reasonable price. The owner was also excellent - very helpful in the week prior to the holiday and then no-hassle once arrived. Ideally situated in a beautiful and chilled out part of the world, the chalet is no more than a couple of miles from the major points of interest such as the Lizard, Kennack Sands and Kynance Cove. Would certainly book again if headed that way.

Very clean chalet with 2 rooms,.kitchen and bathroom,.tv and radio..Welcoming helpful hosted.Would definitely recommend. Situated very close to The Lizard.. a great place to stay with nearby shops, pubs and beaches. Quite and relaxing place to stay.

When we arrived after a long drive, we found a simple but clean and welcoming little chalet, with a tray of delicious freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream, a vase of fresh flowers and neatly made beds. Laura, the owner, checked that we were ok during our stay and was very helpful during the booking process: we were traveling with a wheelchair user, and she patiently answered all our questions and measured doorways for us. We went ahead knowing the space would be tight for a wheelchair user, because it was a reasonably priced chalet in the area we wanted to visit. However, it's not possible to get right into the bedrooms, kitchen or bathroom in a wheelchair, so it's not ideal for someone who needs to be in a chair all the time. The kitchen was well provided with crockery, glass and utensils as well as a microwave, two electric rings and a small oven (which we didn't try), the sitting/dining room is comfortable, there are plenty of television channels (though no wifi), and the site was quiet and clean. The area is lovely, close to Lizard Point and many beautiful beaches and coves, and the chalet is a good base from which to explore much of west Cornwall, with many interesting places to visit. There are convenient supermarkets and other facilities nearby in Helston.

Stayed here over Christmas 2017. No 32 was nice and cozy place. Just what I needed. Place was decorated very nicely and I had a lovely cream tea waiting for me when I arrived. Laura made me feel very welcome. Enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Hoping to stay over soon again.

The cottage was very small and compact which was ideal for a long weekend, everything was clean and tidy and it was so quiet and dark, so a torch would come in handy. The cream tea was a welcome treat on arrival and the local scenery was stunning. It is well worth eating at the Lizard cafe as the food is to die for and so reasonably priced. We have stayed on this site before at another chalet and loved it so much we came back, so no doubt will be back in the future, just for a weekend though as it could be a bit small for a week. Loved the place.

I picked this chalet as it was on our price range and seemed reasonable. It was very clean and was a nice place for our short holiday. Would certainly recommend it to anyone.
