A gem - perfect for a couple and in wonderful village location
This little 'cottage' is so cleverly laid out. It had a nice little stove that kept us cosy this time of year. Owners were great to deal with and the kitchen was well equipped. But the best thing was its private location. Felt we were in the country, yet it's there in the middle of the town. Enjoyed the music and the food in Kinvara. We'll def be back.

About the neighbourhood
Kinvara is a quaint seaside village renowned for its medieval castle, 'Dunguaire', which provides nightly banquets. Each August Kinvara hosts Cruinniu na mBad, a traditional sailing festival featuring turf boats. There is a traditional music festival (Fleadh na gCuach) each May Bank Holiday weekend and a hurling festival. The famous 'Farmer's Market' takes place every Friday. The village contains 3 supermarkets, restaurants, post office, pharmacy, health food shop, hairdressers, beauticians, seaweed treatment clinic, craft shops, children's playground, football, tennis and much more. Kinvara is considered the 'gateway' to North Clare, which is renowned for its limestone landscape of the BURREN.
