We stayed from 24.05.2018 until 31.05.2018 in that marvellous house. The house is located about 6 km from the center of Kinvara. It ist really beautiful, great kitchen, clean and nice rooms with many space.
But best of all are the hosts! We got help in every manner (booking of a tour to the Arran isle, where to shop ...)
All in all - it was a very nice place to stay, with really kind landlords! :)
Thank you for the great time!

Great family house
We travelled to Crannagh House in July with family of different 3 generations, the eldest of whom were in their 80s and had limited mobility, the youngest aged 19.
One of the group has to use either a wheelchir or a walking frame and so the downstairs bedroom and bathroom and the wheelchair ramp up to the rear of the house was a very very useful addition. Although there is no shower downstairs, it allowed my Mum to move easily from bathroom to bedroom as they are side by side.
There are 2 sitting areas, both very comfortable, a more formal sitting room to the front of the house with tv and a sun room to the rear. This gave good flexibility allowing some members of the family to watch tv in one room while others read in the sun room or played cards or were on laptops in the kitchen. There is wifi in the house.
The kitchen is a good size and the whole downstairs is comfortably laid out. THe only thing we noticed as an addition would be to have some extra pots and pans and some extra mugs/ cups but the need probably depends on the size of the group and how much eating in or out you are doing.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 ensuite and a main bathroom. All beds were very comfortable and all bathrooms were very clean. In fact the whole house was immaculately clean. The only addition needed upstairs was extra towels.
The owners were superb, a delight to meet and speak to, full of enthusiasm and helpful advice.
The location was great, offering an array of things to see and do but is a few kilometers outside of Kinvara.
I would heartily recommend this house, location and owners and hope to return very soon.
Many many thanks Mary and Michael. It was a pleasure to stay here and thank you for sharing it with us.

Great house with plenty of space for large group
A group of friends stayed in Crannagh House for 3 nights in May. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. Mary was very welcoming and made our arrival and departure very easy. Would recommend this house.

Family Trip
We stayed here for a few days and it was excellent! The house is beautiful and incredibly clean and well kept, and it had more than enough room for our group (6 people). Mary and Michael were incredibly pleasant, helpful, and accommodating, and we're always available if we had any questions. They even helped us book reservations for several activities during our stay. Highly reccomend this home!!

Convenient location to visit several Highlights
Very helpful owners, very hospitable and friendly. The location is very good to visit highlights as Connemara , Burren, Cliffs of Moher.
Clean house, all very neat.
Kitchen equipment was lacking a bit. Dishwasher didn't clean well. Too less pots and pans for a large group.

Excellent holiday
Stayed here for a week in June 16. Me , my partner and 4 year old , my sister , her husband , their 3 year old and 3 month old and our parents. So there was 6 adults and 3 children altogether and this house was perfect for us all as it was so big. Its gorgeous and really modern, the pictures really don't do it justice it's much nicer in real life we didn't want to leave. Four lovely big bedrooms upstairs two were unsuite and one bathroom and one big bedroom downstairs. Also living room and sunroom so very nice for family's with kids as everyone had their own space. Lovely big modern kitchen with big fridge freezer ,oven gas cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Couldn't fault this house in anyway. Also the owners were so nice and really helpful, they supplied cots and blankets, highchairs etc.
About 5-6 min drive from Kinvara Village ( you wouldn't walk). Kinvara has a lovely big Londis plus supermarket which had everything we needed and was perfect for grocery shopping. And approx 30 mins drive to galway city which was grand.
Lovely farm for kids down in Kinvara (can't remember the name) , kids loved it indoor and outdoor play area , animals and nice walk also nice food and reasonable prices.
Kinvara has no traditional takeaway which was very surprising but we could get takeaway pizza from the Italian restaurant but they didn't do chips , pizza was nice though. Overall great holiday , house was perfect.

A good welcome in the West of ireland
We really enjoyed our stay in Crannagh House. It is a large. comfortable house with all good facilities just a few minutes drive from Kinvara. Well equipped with plenty of space for adults and children to relax; there is also a sunny terrace at the back, ideal for barbeques. Good heating system if needed, plenty of hot water in the three bathrooms with an additional toilet downstairs. Good wifi and satellite tv. Very handy to reach the N18/M18 between Galway and Limerick. Well recommended.
