The property itself is lovely and the location cannot be beat. My group and I had a great time but would highly recommend the property owner to replace the mattresses on both pull out beds as they are in really rough shape and not feasible for use. Other than that would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who was interested.

This was our annual family trip so we had an age range from infant to adult. The location was nice and the cabin was nice until we discovered issues on our stay. I have over 20 years in Property Management so this review comes from a professional standpoint as well. I used the oven the first night to heat up dinner and we ended up with a smoke filling the cabin, turns out the oven had NOT been cleaned and there was a pile of black debris on the bottom that caused the smoke, oh, and also, NO SMOKE DETECTORS WENT OFF, (fire hazard), don't know if unit has any or if batteries were dead? Layer of dust on items atop kitchen decor. We used the hot tub the second night and covered it up after use, the next night we uncovered it and it smelled like a bait shop fish tank, awful, we couldn't find any chlorine tablets so didn't use it again. We could not open the downstairs pull out couch bed, we discovered the frame was bent and manuvered it open but could not close it the next morning. My husband spent an hour of our vacation time fixing the bed so we could fold it up, the upstairs pull out is also damaged, the person sleeping there looked like a human taco the bed is so warped. I pulled a blanket out of a drawer and it was stained and smelled of vomit, I ended up washing it out of disgust. The dishwasher did not work, it sounded like it was runnning but the dishes came out as dirty as when they went in. Upon arrival we removed our shoes (we don't wear shoes in the house), within 30 minutes the bottom of our feet were BLACK, floor was filthy. Day 3 we had heavy rain, the window in stairway has a very bad leak, we used EVERY towel in the unit to try to keep the water from soaking the carpet on stairs, there's also a leak in the kitchen above the sink from the ceiling. This community allows dogs to roam loose, no owners in sight and if there is an owner, the dogs are NOT on leashes. We used the grill one night and that was filthy as well. We spent hours cleaning that unit and the host had the audacity to request more money because we had our family who was renting at the lodge bring their dogs over on the back porch. We have photos to back up these items and are more than happy to share them. We did not have good cell service while there so I could not contact owner. Overall, nice location and cabin but this cabin needs improvement considering we spent a mortgage payment for 6 days there (left a day early). Not worth the money for the issues we dealt with.

Very enjoyable stay. Great location. Beautiful home. There were a few issues with cleanliness such as garbage down in the seat cushions and a French fry on the stairs.

Let me first start off my saying Todd is an absolute sweetheart. He communicated so well and was very accommodating during our entire stay. Also, yes, the cabin is off to itself away from everything which allows for that intimacy and quality time to be taking advantage of which in my opinion is the purpose of a cabin. I mean if I wanted to be around a lot of activity I would stay in the city (just my opinion). There is a dollar general and Sav a Lot and Spirit Store all within 2 mins of each other which is about 18 mins from the cabin. However, if you can get everything before heading in it keeps you from having to drive down the very curvy mountain road. The cabin is very big and well equipped with everything that you need (although I always travel with my own everything) except this time I forgot my fan that I normally sleep with at night. However, guess what they had that there already too. The back porch had everything we needed and the HOT TUB..omg was everything and was already on and ready to go when we arrive. The propane for the grill was out but before I even could see that Todd had replied there was a gentleman pulling up with a brand new one. Now, if I had to give any recommendations, I think they should add a Pool Table upstairs and take out the Foosball table and maybe some type of Pac Man machine downstairs. Other than that I would def stay here again. The view is amazing at night also.

Our recent stay at this property was good. There are a few things we noticed while we were there. I addresses these issues with the property manager and had a quick response. If the few minor things get addressed it will be an excellent place to stay.

Overall it was good. Need to clean the sofa sleeper. It had mouse poop on the mattress. No propane in the gas grill.

The location is the best to be at for Fall Creek Falls without a lot of tourist crowding. I didn't receive the door code from the owner and had to call, he seemed less than thrilled I had to call and was very off-putting. The house is great, only issue was timely checkin info and interaction with the owner.

The cabin was wonderful and close to Fall Creek Falls which is where we spent our days. Our only complaint and I don’t even know if you know they are there or what you can do is the bats. They were loud especially at night when the kids were trying to sleep. It sounded like they were in the ceiling above the upstairs bedroom. Otherwise we definitely recommend this cabin.

This is a beautiful property on a quiet street...We enjoyed seeing the geese and the horses across the field. We had a really fun time at the pool down the street and overall it was just such a lovely experience. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds! Definitely recommend this location!
