It was a treat to get to stay at a place so close to Fall Creek Falls SP -- that was our main destination each day. The cabin was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, and it was a treat to get to stay at a place managed and cared for by folks that clearly care for the wildlife with which they share the land. A nice place to use as a jumping off point for the region and for some local birdwatching.
The cabin is not quite "in the woods" -- its pretty close to a main road and a church -- but the road wasn't too busy, and it's not clear to me how often the church has events that might be loud for the two cabins close to it. We were there on 4th of July weekend and weren't bothered, so maybe it's a non-issue.
Otherwise, highly recommended!

Cozy, rustic cabin in secluded location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Piney Creek cabins! The cabins are tucked quietly away in the woods in a convenient location that is just a few minutes from Fall Creek Falls and 30 minutes from Rock Island Falls. Holly cabin was the perfect size for accommodating the two of us and our labradoodle. The owners were very courteous and prompt in returning our call (within 2 minutes) when we had a question. We definitely recommend staying here!

Weekend getaway at Fall Creek
Clean cabin perfect size and accommodations for the two of us and our small furry companion.
Helped make this a great weekend at our favorite state park.

A Great Cabin and A Great Experience
The cabin we stayed in, Holly, was amazing. It was in a very peaceful location. We felt we had privacy without feeling isolated. The cabin was clean, cozy and had all the creature comforts you could want. And the property was amazing. There were many, many little touches and decorations throughout the property. My wife LOVED them all and took a million pictures. If you're going to the Fall Creek Falls state park, this is THE ideal place to stay. Even if you're not going to the park, this is a great choice for where to stay for a quiet, relaxed stay.

Great getaway!
We wanted a place for 2 near Fall Creek Falls where we could do our own cooking. This cabin was a short drive from the park as well as an Amish country store and a cute cafe in Spencer. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and easy to find. It's remote and quiet and being pet friendly was a plus! We would reccomend it.

Cute little cabin
Cute little cabin conveniently located near Fall Creek Falls. It's older, but clean. Overall good stay.

Rest and renewal
This cabin was perfect for our needs: quiet, peaceful, near loads of places to explore. Plus it’s dog-friendly!

I would avoid this location . The host only communicates during booking or when things break.
The location itself is nicely secluded, with just the other two visible nearby cabins.
However the host does not communicate well and the on-site staff is simply stated: rude.
I will never book here again.
