Home is cozy and homey feeling. It is well appointed with everything you need to feel at home. Property is lovely and has very cool paths you can explore. It served as great home base to nearby Fall Creek Falls. We loved the quiet / solitude. Only concern is the private road to the home is hilly and gravel. Recent rains made it became gutted/ rutted in spots. In our SUV, we did become stuck once during an attempt to leave the home . We were able to get out eventually, but just something to be aware of. This is a wonderful home and we enjoyed our visit and would go back again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear. Tania and Henry were both lovely and super helpful to make sure our stay was wonderful. It’s such a cute place and close to all the State Parks for hiking. Lots of exciting wildlife around the area too. We would defiantly stay here again if we get back.

This is cabin was one of the best places we have stayed. The entire family felt at home. It was clean and had everything you would need while away on vacation. The other great thing was the location. Each day we visited a different state park and didn’t have a long drive to get there. We didn’t realize how much there is to do in the area and are planning a return trip next summer.

The property sits on a hill by itself with beautiful plants and trees. There is a large fire pit with nice wooden chairs around it to sit in. There are front and back porches the width of the cabin with comfortable chairs and a gas grill. The cabin was large and very comfortable with just the right rustic touches! Tania who is in charge of the property was very cordial and helpful, and I would definitely recommend this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean and stocked well. I hate that it was too hot to enjoy the fire pit. Listening to and watching storms at night from the back porch was an added highlight!

We enjoyed our stay on the property. We had 2 adults, 2 children and our dog and there was plenty of space. The house was beautiful and well equipped. We had a family emergency back home and had to cut our trip short and Tania was great and very understanding. The cabin is a short drive to two state parks. Falls creek falls was beautiful and we enjoyed hiking to the bottom of the falls and spending a day at the swimming hole. Highly recommend this property. Thank you again

What a lovely property. The cabin is nestled on a mild slope at the end of a long driveway. Tucked into a sprawling wooded backyard without a neighbor in sight. The property is well groomed, the house is well stocked and the aesthetics are perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to retreat to. It was comfortable, quiet and purely vacation material. Tania was a wonderful host. She responded promptly to every question we had and handled her property like a professional. Thank you for hosting such a beautiful experience.

Cabin and amenities were outstanding. We were 4 adults and 3 children and it was more than enough space.The surrounding areas were beautiful with two state parks within 20 min from cabin. Chattanooga and other local towns are a short drive away. The owners were very responsive, if there were any questions or issues. We will definitely be back to enjoy the fall leaves at this beautiful property : ) Thank you Dana and Mike

The house was fantastic and had everything we needed for our trip. We loved the property, the walk to the waterfall was good. The location was great for our needs.
