The cabin is so peaceful and beautiful. It's like you are tucked away in paradise all by yourselves. Will definitely be back.

An incredibly easy place to stay - everything I would think of needing was available. I desperately needed to relax and, therefore, took full advantage of the rocking chairs and swing on the side deck and the hammock for naps. Loved, loved, loved the setting and listening to the day break and the evening set.

My daughters and I loved it. Great location for the Smokies and without the Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge traffic. Perfect

I really enjoyed staying at the Lazy Horse Retreat! Melody is super friendly and a very hospitable host! The cabin is partially secluded in trees but the mountains are still visible. The drive is easily accessible for all vehicles! It is gravel and mostly flat which was great for our manual vehicle. The driveway is big enough for two small cars (two sedans or coupes). We chose to back in the the cabin drive each time just to avoid other cars possibly not seeing us back out. The cabin itself is beautiful! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and even towels/potholders! The fridge is regular sized so you don’t have to skimp on the food! The jetted tub is deep and comfortable for 1-2 people. The futons were nice to lounge on after a long day of hiking! The beds are comfortable and Melody provides lots of blankets and pillows! One of my favorite features was the dehumidifier! It was extremely hot and rained quite a bit during our stay. The dehumidifier kept the cabin from being sticky and uncomfortable. Would highly recommend any of the r cabins on this property! My husband and I are very likely to stay again!

Quaint, quiet little treehouse. Clean and updated appliances. Had a washer and dryer, just note no ironing board or iron. Very quiet and not far from the national park.

We loved our stay in the treehouse this past week and cannot wait to return. It was clean and adorably decorated. The location was great. Melody was very sweet and attentive. We will be back! :)

My friend and I spent three nights in Melody's absolutely lovely and charming cabin as a home base for exploring the park and region, and it was a great fit for us. The cabin is very cozy with two good-sized bedrooms, and there are great common areas in the heart of the cabin and on the open side porch. There was great thought to climate control, and it was cool with a hard-working dehumidifier keeping the air dry. As a city slicker, it's my duty to note that the cabin is tucked into a lovely, but very hilly and semi-rural area. Melody's instructions are great and mind them to a tee, because GPS was patchy for us in the area. We highly recommend staying with Melody!

A great little cabin with plenty of room for my brother and his wife. We had a great time. If I had any recommendations I would put two more rocking chairs on the porch and take down the swing to accommodate more vision the porch.
