About the neighbourhood
Staying at Auvers-sur-Oise, is to enter into a veritable outdoor museum! The village remained virtually unchanged since the time when van Gogh, Cezanne, Pissarro and Daubigny came there to draw inspiration. Charles-François Daubigny was the first to settle in Auvers. You'll visit his studio house decorated by himself and his artist friends: Corot, Daumier, Oudinot ... Close by lies the Ravoux inn, last home of Van Gogh, whose room still has a very deep emotion. This is above the Auvers church in the small cemetery that rely Vincent and his brother Théo.à few meters from the famous cornfield to corbeaux.Tous these sites are within a few minutes walk from the House.
