Flawless stay. If you're looking for quiet and beauty in one stay this is the rental you want. Reedville is indicative of a small town as locals are nice, neighborhood is peaceful and view of the water is calming. Go fishing, crabbing off the dock or just watch the local waterman work. The host is very accommodating and present when needed. Home is a throwback in time but also digitally connected. A must stay for a weekend or week getaway.

My family,5 of us, were extremely pleased with all aspects of our stay. The house was very clean and family friendly, lots of couches and seating areas. It was also a lot bigger than the pictures and description gives credit too. We caught lots of crabs and large spot of the pier, small croakers were abundant this time of year. Just all and all a very wonderful and enjoyable place to stay if you want to get away from everything and enjoy family time. The ice cream at ChitterChats is amazing and you get a free pint. Cannot reccomend enough , 10 out of 10 stars

This vacation rental will go down as one of the best ever. Jeff is a fantastic owner. Check in was super easy with touch pad locks and he used our phone number as the code, so no worries on remembering a new code. The home is a great private location, in an amazing historic area. The home is in immaculate shape. So new world meets old world. AC was cold and quite refreshing. The home is stocked with everything you need except for your private toiletries and food. Couldn't be more satisfied. The ice cream shop was a nice bonus and Jeff drove us a pint over to enjoy, after he took us on a little boat ride. On the ride he told us some history and some places to check out. Super helpful. It helped us find the Fleeton Seafood shop. They supplied us with some crabs and they even cooked them for us. It was amazing. This will definitely be on our favorite places list. Very near the top for sure. I can go on and on about this place but his description tells you everything that you need to know. Thank you for everything Jeff.

Jeff was an excellent host! He went above and beyond to make sure our get away was enjoyable. He helped us with restaurant recommendations, places to visit and sightseeing, he even helped us arrange to bring a half bushel of Blue Crab back home with us! Happy to recommend this location.

Rock cottage was as described and exactly what was needed! Perfect location for true rest and relaxation. Perfect for humans and dog alike! Check in and check out process the easiest I have ever experienced after numerous rentals!

This cottage is so lovely. It looks exactly like the photos. Jeff was easily available for any questions that we had. I loved waking up to beautiful sunrises and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The free pint of ice cream was the cherry on top! Thanks again Jeff, will definitely return!

This property and cottage is exactly what you see on the listing, very accurate. Plenty of grassy space and a patio with beautiful views. While we didn’t have a boat, we used the dock quite a bit for enjoying the scenery and relaxing with morning coffee. The surrounding area is very quiet relaxing, which was a wonderful getaway from DC but you do need to drive several miles for a convenient store and even further for a grocery store. This was fine for us as we brought a lot of groceries with us. We went in December so some businesses/restaurants in Reedville and in towns along the way (from DC were not open). Host is very responsive and even offered a boat ride at any point during our stay but the weather didn’t hold up. We really enjoyed this property.

We all (dog included) thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the waterfront, especially during the sunsets. We fished, crabbed and swam off the pier in front of the house daily. A Tangier Island day trip on the ferry is a must! The description is spot on & Jeff couldn’t have been anymore hospitable! The house is very well stocked with everyday necessities. This was our first trip to the area & won’t be our last.

The property was just as described and was very clean. Jeff was very proactive with providing recommendations in the area and with making sure that everything was alright. He even offered is a boat ride around the area and gave us some ice cream at his excellent ice cream shop nextdoor. When I told him that I could not find the check out procedures, he replied that there were none. How much non-hassle can one get! The view from the house and the private dock were spectacular. We truly enjoyed this stay.
