Through this listing you will be renting the camping equipment only, which is to be picked up and dropped off in Kihei. Camping at Waianapanapa does require a permit which is not included in the cost of the equipment. Permits must be acquired online. The costs are: Non-Hawaii Residents: $18 per campsite per night for up to 6 persons $3 per night for each additional person Maximum fee per site: $30/night Hawaii Residents: $12 per campsite per night for up to 6 persons $2 per night for each additional person* Maximum fee per site: $20/night The campground features free parking, picnic tables, restrooms with multiple stalls, vending machines, and outdoor showers. This means part of the adventure is to bathe in your swim suite! It is not recommended to do this camping trip on the day of your arrival on Maui after a long flight or if you're arriving late in the day. In case of a predicted storm on the day of your camping trip, you are welcome to cancel for a full refund.
