Enjoy staying in an 1859 brownstone in the Historic Chelsea district with access to our garden. Your private one room, studio, apartment opens directly onto the garden and offers extreme ease and comfort. We are known for being extremely quiet though only a block away from the bustle of the city. Located a block from the elevated High Line Park, Chelsea Market, the Chelsea art galleries, and countless restaurants, you couldn't pick a more ideal spot for your NYC visit. OUR BEDS CAN BE SET AS EITHER A SEAMLESS KING-SIZE OR TWO TWINS. WE ALSO HAVE HIGH AERO BEDS FOR ADDITIONAL PEOPLE....Enjoy staying in an 1859 brownstone in the Historic Chelsea district with access to our garden. Interaction with guests
We've lived in NYC for over 40 years - 35 in Chelsea on W. 22nd St. We are available to answer any of your questions - about restaurants, tourist attractions, theater, galleries, our neighborhood and the city at large - but though we're on premises you don't have to worry about avoiding us if you'd rather deal with the city on your own.

We stayed in the lower garden level. A private entrance leads down a hallway to your studio. The studio is great, everything you would need for your stay including a great walk in shower. The bed is super comfortable and the studio is very clean....More

Karen's apartment is in a great location, minutes away from the High Line, close to subway lines, great restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is up 2 steep flights of stairs, but once you're in it's as comfortable and well-appointed as your mother's place (if...More

The brownstone is situated on what is surely the prettiest street in gentrified Chelsea, smack in the middle between two avenues, which means you get the benefit of proximity to convenient subways and wonderful restaurants without constant city street noise. We stayed in the large...More

Thanks. Our water pressure is something most guests rave about, but I'm happy that you enjoyed everything else.

About the neighbourhood
Historic brownstone neighborhood. A block away from Chelsea art galleries. A half-block away from the High Line. Scores of restaurants within walking distance. Chelsea Market is blocks away.
Getting around
Great transportation alternatives - buses up, down and crosstown at the corner and the subway a block and a half away. Penn Station is a five minute taxi ride, a one-stop subway trip, or a ten minute walk. So much of downtown is within convenient walking distance, the best way to experience the city.
