Dishes, towels and bed linen are being provided. Cable television and wireless network are available. The use of our washer (60 °C/sanitary, program) and dryer is negotiable. Due to allergies, please, no use of perfumed detergent, fabric softener, or dryer sheets. We will provide detergent. There also is outdoor drying space on cloths lines. Available most of the year (please check calendar). The apartment in Flagstaff is the ideal 'base camp' for day/multi day trips (tours guided by owner available) or for athletes coming here for high altitude training and offers an opportunity to take care of your own meals without having to go out an eat all the time. Flagstaff - near the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Flagstaff is located in the middle of a prehistoric volcanic field on a high desert plateau (approximately 7000 ft.) at the foot of the San Francisco Peaks (12,633 ft.) and along the legendary Route 66. The city is also the gateway to the majestic Grand Canyon in the north. It is close to the Sonoran Desert, Sedona and the famous red rock landscape in the south. In the east, it rises over the grass and steppe landscape leading to the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest. To the west lies the Mohave Desert taking you to Las Vegas. The mountains of the San Francisco Peaks, with the four highest peaks in the state, Humphreys Peak (12,633 ft.), Agassiz Peak (12,356 ft.), Fremont Peak (11,969 ft.) and Abineau Peak (11,838 ft.), are visible from quits some distance, no matter which direction you are coming from. A great location for training in Flagstaff

Anke and Brian are very gracious hosts. The apartment has its own entrance through the garage. It was very clean with a full size kitchen. The wifi speed was good. We were allowed to use the grill on the deck and their washer/dryer whenever necessary....More

Really ideal base for day hiking trips

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Very nice location with easy access to multiple day trips. Brian was very hospitable. It will be our place when we go again to Flagstaff. The weather very good - Flagstaff has probably the best weather in Arizona.

Excellent Accomodations

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and convenient. Anka was hospitable and helpful. We travel to Flagstaff several times a year and this will be our "go to" place from now on. The location is great and gives easy access to all of Flagstaff.
