Only 5 minutes from the famous pebble beach of Budleigh Salterton and 12 minutes from the extensive sandy beach at Exmouth, Jasmine Cottage provides the most excellent location for visiting all that East Devon has to offer; coastal walks and inland treks, cycling, city shopping, local heritage exploration and so much more... Bicton Arena, Crealy Adventure park, Bicton Park and the seaside Towns of Sidmouth, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton are very close by.

Interaction with guests:Â Once you arrive at the property you will be left enjoy the peace and quietness that the cottage has to offer (aside from the occasional church song from the lovely 8 bell tower which is next door). Should you require anything during your stay then we are on hand to provide tips and answer any questions that you may have.
Myself and daughter plus small dog stayed at Jasmine Cottage during the Coronation weekend and the charming village of East Budleigh pulled out all the stops to mark the occasion. The cottage was sparkling clean and comfortable and provided a great base for visiting my son and family who live in nearby Sidmouth but is also well located for a walking or beach holiday. The amenities provided for guests at the cottage are everything you might need including a welcome pack of local produce and a bottle of wine, very much appreciated! Angela is a lovely lady who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

TOP CLASS HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE AND FEELS LIKE HOME.
We have stayed here in the past and it was so nice to come back to beautiful East Devon and East Budleigh. The cottage is so well equipped it really is home from home. There is nothing that hasn’t been thought of. The welcome pack is outstanding and very generous. This was a special trip to celebrate a special birthday and the owner (who is just so nice) arranged the most gorgeous Birthday Cake for me to surprise my partner. And my word it was amazing. We love the art work and the whole cottage is just practical and so comfortable. It’s a great base to visit other parts of Devon and a trip to The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth is a must. It’s a great area for walking and running and our dog loved his holiday there too. We will be back and can not wait. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and sorting that taste sensation of a cake for me. See you next time.

Beautiful cottage in lovely location.
Jasmine Cottage is ideally located in the beautiful village of East Budleigh with pub and village shop on its doorstep. There are convenient bus services to both Exmouth and Sidmouth. The cottage is very well appointed and clean - everything we needed for our stay. Private parking right by the front door was an added bonus.
The welcome pack which included scones, jam and clotted cream, as well as a bottle of wine was wonderful! We were fascinated by the art work on the walls of all rooms. As the sun shone on most days of our stay the garden was also appreciated.
We can't wait to return.

Lovely modern sunny cottage , with all amenities needed
A short break 3 nights last minute to Devon. Jasmine cottage is light , bright and very clean . Everything you could need is provided. We visited with our dog for 3 nights in October. Village is quaint and close to lovely beaches and towns. We were very happy that all precautions were taken with Covid measures in place. We would definitely return if coming down again.

Home from home.
What a lovely place. Homely and welcoming. Welcome pack was a lovely touch and very generous. Didn't want to leave. Wouldn't book anywhere else if I was going to that area again.

Excellent place to stay
Jasmine Cottage is the perfect spot to have a short break away from it all. A beautifully refurbished cottage that is so light; the front and back gardens are real sun traps. The village is an exquisite Devon village with pub and local shop. The coast is within walking distance. We had a really great time and would not hesitate to go back.
PS the welcome tray of goodies also went down very well

Lovely cottage in a lovely village
Super cottage - they have thought of everything. Could happily move in! Just down on my own to visit daughter and new grandson and will definitely be back with husband. Safe for children and pets.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about Jasmine Cottage.Excellent location in a chocolate box village.Every need catered for,very clean and superbly comfy beds. Looking forward to a return visit with our four legged friends

It's a lovely place bright modern decor comfortable beds lovely owner Angela couldn't do enough for us and our little dog.gorgeous welcome tray wine scenes jam and cream etc .it was lovely.

Beautiful, clean and well appointed property
My daughter and I spent 3 nights in this gorgeous cottage. It is beautifully decorated and has all the mod cons. Very clean and comfortable and on arrival we received a Welcome pack with fresh eggs from the owners chickens! The cottage is very peaceful and we started to relax as soon as we walked in. One special thing about the furnishings are the fantastic original prints on the walls which have all come from The Brook Gallery in Budleigh. The cottage is well placed for you to visit Budleigh ( 5 minutes away by car ) and also to explore Devon with the beautiful coastline and moors nearby. In the village itself there is a shop which sells fresh produce along with other conveniences. The village pub ( a short walk from the cottage ) gives a great atmosphere of village life and the food is good.
I would highly recommend this cottage and am looking forward to book a return visit.

Staying at Jasmine Cottage provides everything that you might want from a Devon based holiday. The lovely village of East Budleigh has a children's park, with static table tennis table. The tennis court can be used on an ad-hoc basis. You can walk on to Woodbury Common, and the Coastal path easily from the village and a short drive or cycle will get you to the famous pebbles of Budleigh beach. Good quality independent shops can be found in the beautiful seaside towns of Sidmouth, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton nearby. East Budleigh itself plays host to a very well equipped community store and 17th Century pub with a lovely atmosphere and good pub food.
Getting around
An hourly bus runs through the village during the day times but for more flexibility to see the sites a car will provide you more scope to go a little further afield...
