Our cabin is perfect for privately viewing the spectacular Northern Lights - all you have to do is open the door and step out onto the veranda. Nestled in the Lyngen Alps in this beautiful & tranquil part of Northern Norway (approx. 1.5 hours from Tromso) is Larsvoll Gard (Larsvoll Farm). Just outside of Lyngseidet on the shore of the Lyngen Fjord is our modern and spacious lodge. The cabin has stunning mountain and fjord views, is incredibly peaceful, yet close enough to the town of Lyngseidet (5km) for local amenities. Excellent base for both winter and summer activities including: Spotting the Aurora/Northern Lights, skiing, dog sledding, hiking, wildlife and bird spotting. We want you to feel at home, and as such ask that you please treat the cabin as you would your own home. • Please remove all outdoor footwear in the hallway. • Strictly no smoking in the cabin • Please be mindful of our neighbours • Please only use firewood provided in the log burner • Do not place sanitary items, nappies or other objects (other than toilet roll) into the toilet as we only have a septic tank and any costs incurred will be passed on to the guest/guests.

Absolutely wonderful

About the neighbourhood

Lyngseidet is a beautiful and unique town located on the shore of the Lyngen Fjord. It is an excellent base for exploring the Lyngen Alps and has a ferry service across the fjord to Olderdalen and beyond. The town has good amenities including, 1 supermarket, ski and winter sports hire, tourist information and fuel station. The lodge is situated approx. 5km south of Lyngseidet. We have good links with a local dog sledding business, who specialises in intimate and exclusive dog sledding adventures. We can also arrange guided tours of the local mountains and glaciers.

Getting around

A car is the best way to view the area and we highly recommend a 4x4 in the winter. There are bus routes nearby and we will provide detailed directions on booking.
