Spent a couple of weeks travelling across italy and this was the best stay of our trip. The views are just stunning, the quality of the accommodation is second to none and the hosts couldn't have done more for us in getting to know how to get around and where to eat. This is a hidden gem, well away from the more populated resorts if this is your thing. We had a car but preferred to use the bus to amalfi and the local beach, beautiful. Can't wait to go back.

This apartment was everything we could have asked for: views, location, comfortable, and the most amazing owners who treated you like family! Assunta and Gianni went above and beyond making us feel at home including giving us fresh produce from the garden and eggs from their chickens. La Bellavista is closely tucked in between the towns of Amalfi and Praiano which gives you that cozy Italian home feeling and less expensive compared to other coastal towns, yet so close by bus or car when you want to adventure out. We had two adults and five older teenagers in our group and we had plenty of room and activities to keep everyone happy including an amazing restaurant " La Bonta del Capo" at the bottom of the hill that will send a shuttle for you during certain hours and bring you back home after dinner. This was by far the best place that we rented on our trip and can't wait to return again for another summer! Thank you Assunta and Gianni

My husband and I spent a lovely 2 weeks (April 13-27) at the Bellavista in Conca dei Marina. Our 2 bedroom apartment, situated on the third floor (no elevator) in a house in the hills between Positano and Amalfi, had beautiful views of the sea and neighbouring villages along the coast from our 4 balconies (2 of which were quite long). It was very clean and our bed very comfortable. We were able to make some of our meals in the kitchen, enjoying fresh eggs and lemons provided by our hosts. We would recommend having a rental car as there is nothing in walking distance - exploration of neighbouring towns as well as outings to the local grocery store and restaurants would be rather difficult without a car. Fortunately La Bellavista provides a parking space - a luxury along the Amalfi Coast. Our hosts and their extended family members were very welcoming as were many of the town residents we met at restaurants and at Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday masses. The location away from crowded Positano and Amalfi (yet in driving distance) provided a very peaceful and restful environment...we would go again!

My wife, a friend and I spent a week here in mid-October. Weather was perfect, and this was a great place from which to explore the central Amalfi coast by car and to drive over to Pompeii. A car is a necessity, as the ony services within easy walking distance is a very small convenience store. The owners provided off-street parking about 50 feet from the house. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a beautiful home, and was well-equipped. It includes a spacious private balcony off the living room with a gorgeous view over the mediterranean, and also balconies off each bedroom and the kitchen, also with nice views!. The beds were Italian queen beds, mattresses somewhat firmer than those at home, but typical of lower-cost Italian vacation rentals. The 2 bathrooms were as shown, except the larger one did not have a seat on the toilet (no problem for us). The shower in the 2nd bathroom was very small. The owners' family lives on the 1st 2 floors of the property. They were very friendly, and Gianni and Assunta spoke excellent English. We were very pleased with the accomodation and service.

Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und man hat das Gefühl, bei guten Freunden untergebracht zu sein. Der Gesamteindruck ist vorbehaltslos positiv: Die spektakuläre Wohn-Örtlichkeit, die ehrliche, warmherzige Gastgeberqualität in einer der weltweit schönsten Küstenabschnitte - der Amalfiküste - mit den kontrastreichen Meeres - Lichtspielen und seinen malerischen Städten - beschenkte uns mit der großzügigen italienischen Lebensart. Herzlichen Dank dafür, wir werden die große, bezaubernde italienische Freiheit bei Euch nie vergessen!

Owners very friendly and welcoming. Brilliant views. Villa spacious, comfortable and clean. Great restaurants nearby with free shuttle service.Interesting and quiet villages close by which we preferred to the mayhem, crowds and chaotic traffic around for example Amalfi.You still get the Italian atmosphere and experience in these smaller centres, possibly more.

Agree with others -- the photos of the views do not come close to the true experience. It is absolutely amazing. Nicely situated for day trips into Ravello, Positano, Sorrento. Assunta and her family are very very nice and helpful. Lovely, spacious and very clean apartment. You do have to go up a couple flight of stairs but not bad once the luggage is in. It was also fantastic to have a dedicated parking spot (not a given on the coast!). They have access to a free shuttle to a nearby restaurant that has wonderful food - perfect for evenings when you don't want to risk the road yourself. That was every night for us! Thank you Assunta for making this part of our trip a delight!

Unbelievable views. Spectacular scenery. Peace and quiet. Unit clean, homely, well maintained and plenty of amenities. Assunta's family friendly and helpful. Problem with washing machine fixed within the day. Basket of produce particularly nice. Bus virtually at door, but there is a climb. Windy roads not for the faint hearted. Coastal towns like Amalfi and Positano great to visit but busy. Mountain townships like Ravello just magical. Would love to return. Beautiful memories now. Many thanks Assunta for a wonderful stay.

We were well looked after by the ownser's Assunta and Gianni, who helped when we had to adjust our travel dates, and met us in person on arrival. The villa is very spacious, perched high up in the cliffs on one of the many winding Amalfi roads. The many rooms were all very clean and well appointed, and most have patios that offer breathtaking coast/cliff/sea views, and all are a little vertigo inducing. We spent evenings and mornings sat outside watching the sunrise and sunsets, all the people scurrying around the coastline on motorbikes, in cars, busses, boats, etc. We also went to the local recommended restaurant 'La Bonta del Capo', who delivered some lovely food and on the night we were there, live music and many locals eating and drinking into the early hours. The restaurant also picked us up from the villa and returned us after a few bottles of wine, at no cost. Thats customer service....! During our few days at the villa, we travelled along the coastline, spending a full day in Amalfi looking at the historical buildings, walking the streets and using the free beach. If you are in a car, there is a good underground car park in Amalfi, but it does fill up quickly late morning. We would highly recommend La Bellavista and would definitely stay here again in the future.
