Blue Horizon is literally just over the road from the beach in Porthleven and has the most amazing views across Mount’s Bay towards the Lizard Peninsula. Recently refurbished to a high standard, this reverse-level house sleeps three people and two dogs. On the ground floor you’ll find both the bedrooms and the bathroom which has a shower over the bath. The main bedroom has a super king size bed. Upstairs the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has stunning sea views, comfortable seats, a well-positioned dining table to enable dining with a view and a modern high-gloss kitchen with granite work surfaces. Lovely sea front cottage
Could not fault this holiday cottage .. The reverse layout meant the view from the lounge upstairs and the kitchen was superb The bed was very large and very comfortable. The infra red central heating was brilliant and very controllable. The only slight niggle was you could not open the windows to get the sound of the sea .. I do understand why the sheet of perspex was in front of the glass as Porthleven gets massive storms ..but surely just a crack for ventilation and sea sounds would have been ok as I am sure the double glazed windows would have had one of the locks which allows the windows to be locked a crack open ? But that is a small thing compared with the great holiday we had there .. Have booked for January 23 :)
