This is advertised as a pet friendly, family apartment. It is in a good position in Porthleven, you can see the sea from the front and it’s only a short but steep walk down into the village. There is an allocated parking space on the car park in front of the apartments. From the parking area you have to walk up several steps to get to the apartments even though this was a ground floor apartment. It has an open paved area in front of the lounge patio doors with partial railings to stop anyone falling over the edge, however it is not enclosed, it is open on both sides, meaning it’s not secure anyone can walk through so not really pet or child friendly. There is a wooden table bench set on the patio but not exclusive for your use as area is not private. Inside it’s nice and spacious with an open plan lounge / kitchen, 3 bedrooms, en-suite and bathroom. It was lovely and clean. The kitchen is great it had everything we needed apart from a pizza cutter. THE FURNITURE IS SHOCKING!!! For starters there is only sofa seating for 4 people, not acceptable when you have booked for 5. The sofas are two very small leather two seaters. They are very low and have absolutely no stuffing in the seats so once you sit in them you need a winch to get you back on your feet. They are very uncomfortable. The dining chairs (there are five of them) again have no padding so it’s like sitting on a wooden frame. The beds aren’t much better, the double is okay, two of the singles are rock hard and the third is saggy. Also there is only one tv which I know isn’t a big deal to most people but if you have kids who want to watch different things or teens who want alone time after spending all day with their family you need that extra technology especially in this day and age. It’s such a shame the owners have skimped on quality, because it really did put a downer on our holiday. We won’t be back, not when we can book something much more comfortable for the same price close by.

We stopped here in July 2021. The location is good, not far to walk into town or beach. The apartment is behind a property that sits on the seafront although Rosenwn is higher so you can see the sea above the ridge line of the roof of the property in front (although you arent on the actual sea front). The apartment also had 1 reserved parking space which is good as on street parking is difficult. The two two seater sofas are very small so as a party of five one person had to sit on the dining chair. The sofas themselves need replacing as they appear to have been very cheap when they were bought (typical Argos style £100 each) and fairly old....they sag in the middle and have definately seen better days. The dining table and chairs again are cheap and the chairs pads themselves are worn and you sink in them when you sit on them. The mattresses of the beds in the twin room neex replacing, the beds in the double room and single room were fine. A good property let down by some of the furniture within it. Wouldn't cost much and a bit of TLC to increase the bar on this
