This property is a gem. We traveled as 2 families with 1 adult child each; the villa's layout was perfect for our needs and very thoughtfully appointed. The caretakers, Miguel and Maria were on hand to greet us and help us get oriented, they were also available for any of our needs through out the week. A genuine couple who we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know. The building is relatively new, immaculately kept, clean and fresh, in my opinion, much nicer than illustrated in the website. The pool view and sunsets are of the most beautiful I have ever seen. At the bottom of the hill in the little town called Potrero, were several lovely restaurant options. Through the Villa we were introduced to the Costa Rica Sailing Centre, an easy and dependable destination to swim in the ocean and hang out, offering the rental of sailboats, paddleboards, Scuba Diving packages; a yoga studio and full beach bar/restaurant (we dropped in 3 out of 6 days). Ville de Oro, and our holiday to Costa Rica exceeded my expectations. Rita from the Concierge service mentioned the EXIT TAX at the airport is now included in our plane ticket; however, and unexpected surprise - since we flew West Jet from Toronto - we did have to pay the $29/head fee at the airport.

Great views, excellent house. We had a great stay here just outside Playa Flamingo. This is an excellent house to relax and soak up the sunshine. Rental company was easy to deal with and the house manager was very friendly. The only minor downsides were the long bumpy unpaved road to the house, the hot tub is not hot at all, and the dust from the road as it runs right beside the pool deck. Overall, I would it the house I big thumbs up.

We were at Villa Oasis for two weeks just last month. This was by far one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. We live in Alaska, and Costa Rica has been on our bucket list for years. I have searched many hours on the internet and consistently came back to Tropical Homes of Costa Rica’s site. After I enticed other family members and close family friends to join us we selected Villa Oasis in Potrero. We were not disappointed. The house was exactly as depicted on the web site. After using the virtual tour ,(over and over) we felt like we had already been there. The rental process was made easy by Rita and the staff. All transactions were completely done over the web site and question were answered promptly . Once we arrived we were escorted to the house and given the tour. The rooms were great, the kitchen was more than adequate, but the pool and upper balcony were consistently the place to be. The sunsets were awesome. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. The nearby beaches were the stuff movies are made of. We cannot say enough about the entire experience. If there were more than 5 stars , Tropical homes would get all of them. One note that we would like to make, is that the on site couple, Miguel and Maria , are now part of our extended family. They are friendly, professional and always happy. We got to know them during our stay and cannot say enough about how they enhanced our experience. Thank You so much for exceeding our expectations. As most travelers know, booking a vacation is one of the most joyous events one can experience… with anticipation growing each and every time you mark a day closer on your calendar. My experience however was not what you would call the normal run of the mill. I decided to embrace my inner spontaneity - I purchased my plane ticket on a Tuesday and flew out the following Thursday for a 4 day retreat with other friends. With some luck, we were able to secure Villa Oasis, which lives up to its’ name in glorious fashion. Secluded within the mountains of Potrero, the Villa Oasis beholds some of the most breathtaking views. From majestic foothills to the Pacific Ocean, both can be seen from the exquisite wraparound veranda, and stunning infinity pool. Moving inside, this Villa exhibits its grace with luxurious furnishings, oversized bedrooms ( having their own private bathrooms), and large glass paneled windows allowing you to enjoy the extraordinary views from practically every room in the house. Now, my primary focus of this trip was to rest, relax, and recharge from the everyday stresses we are so inclined to deal with. With the assistance from the wonderful caretakers Miguel and Maria, I was able to fully enjoy each and every day to the fullest, whether it was spent at the local beaches (Playa Potrero or Playa Flamingo), or indulging in some of the best Costa Rican cuisine… I personally recommend Coco Loco’s or The Beach House as both possess diverse menus and the waterfront dining experience. What else can I say other than this trip had exceeded my wildest dreams and expectations. Even if it’s for only a few days, I cannot wait until I can call this beautiful residence in paradise, my home again and again !

My stay at Oasis was a graduation gift that I won't ever forget! The agency made it so easy for us as new travelers to get the most out of our trip. Villa Oasis is set on a hill with the most spectacular views, including vividly colored sunsets. The villa is luxuriously furnished and felt like home, not to mention the attentive care takers were there to answer our questions and take care of the space during our stay. I felt like a movie star tanning next to the pool, and gorgeous Costa Rican beaches are a short drive away. Ask about the Catamaran sunset cruise! We had an amazing time and I dream of when I can go back!

Went there with friends, one of them started crying because of the beauty! The sunset is worth a life time experience. The house is goergous, clean, super deco, and, the pool........OMG. Everything was more then just like in a dream!

My family just spent ten wonderful days at Villa Oasis, a property managed by Tropical Homes. The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed and more! Most of all, the caretakers, Miguel and Maria were so kind, friendly and helpful. They made us all feel so welcome. Bladimir, the property manager, was also very helpful and attentive every time I needed to call with a question. Thank you so much for making my family's trip to Costa Rica so special. We look forward to renting from Tropical Homes again in the future!

My wife and I stayed at this property 4 times already! Villa Oasis is one of those rare places that when found, will carry you away from the stress that we all seek relief from. It is in every aspect a true oasis. The drive up to the villa is along a secluded private road. We made stops along the way to take in the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the mountain range. A special feeling came over us as we climbed higher and higher before arriving at the house that sits higher in the mountain. I truly feel that Costa Rica is for people who love nature and want to escape from the ordinary we put up with everyday. The ride up the mountain only adds to the allure of the escape we all seek. Two property care takers were on site to assist us upon arrival. No hotel lobbies, public pools, other "things" to bother us. The villa itself is furnished exquisitely. Our private escape began as we entered the property. Accommodations are what you would expect at a private villa, quite plush. Fully equipped kitchen for the cooking if you desire.The master suite has a spectacular view of the ocean and the mountains. There are three other bedrooms, all with great views and private full baths. Sitting areas have large, elegant and comfortable furniture. The pool is spectacular, as is the wrap around second floor balcony and the rest of this private home. The house and pool is absolutely spotless. The quality of furniture and beddings adds to the luxury. Relaxing by the pool or sitting on the balcony for breakfast never seemed to bore us when looking at the beautiful vistas from the high elevation of the property. On some days we ventured down to Flamingo Beach. The ocean temperature was warm and refreshing. There are hotels and bars at the beach area for those who are so inclined. Our visit was geared more towards recharging our bodies at the house. Maria, the caretaker is also a professional masseuse, so you can have your massage right in the house! In the evenings we enjoyed seeking out the small local restaurants that serve the freshest fish you will ever eat. We never really keep track of the names of these places, but every time we visit them or find new places to eat, the owners treat us well and always remember us when we return. There are many adventurous things to do in Costa Rica if you so desire. However, if you are looking to relax so you can return from your trip as new person, nothing beats Villa Oasis!!
