Enjoyable stay last week at the cottage. It’s a little isolated so if that’s what you are looking for it’s great. Well fitted out, warm and clean. Though could do with a bike shed. There is a hotel just down the road with a pool and hot tub you can use cheaply as a walk in guest which was good for kids. Great views out the back and close by. Nearest local shop is in Ballachulish few miles away. Would have appreciated a box of wood for the fire was my only comment. There is a bike/foot path just behind the house that links to Oban and Foot William so you can pedal or walk in safety to the hotel down the road dinner or a drink. It’s 25 minute drive in Fort William and not too far into Glencoe. Overall a great place particularly if you like peace and quiet.

Catriona’s little bungalow is the perfect base for a holiday in this area. It was so easy find and it is close to local amenities whilst still being far enough out of the way - one evening we watched a Tawny Owl sat on the phone wire outside the front of the house only about 3 metres away from us! The house smelled super clean as soon as we walked in and everywhere was tidy. Catriona was easy to contact and the check in process was very straight forward. We would definitely recommend and book again!

some small observations of a fab cottage. THe garden was sadly neglected which some minor ammendments would make for a reallh enjoyable break. The grass needed cutting, and only 3 white plastic chairs in the garden with no table After a week a table arrived, not of the best quality and restricted our outside living. Therr was a BBQ but it ad been locked away in the garage. All these things may seem minor, however when you pay for your holiday. The cottage is comfortable and well equipt it may have been helpful to highlight it is on a busy main road as the traffic noice is apparent. If the quality of the inside of the cottage was reflected outside it would have been a fantastic package. Your sincerely

Brilliant location, very clean and well stocked. House was absolutely spotless. I was able to contact owner direct who answered very promptly. We ended up staying an extra 2 days. We have re-booked already. Absolutely brilliant getaway.

The property is lovely, was sparkling clean absolutely perfect for our long weekend in Glencoe. The kitchen is really well equipped which was great and Catriona was very helpful during the booking process, we couldn’t have asked for more. We are already planning another trip to the area next year and will be rebooking Ben View!

What a lovely area. The accommodation had everything we needed and acted as a good base for us to stay. There are lovely views from the back garden and plenty of things to see and do within a few miles around us. The owner of the property was helpful and polite and so was our neighbour. We would definitely stay again if we plan future trips to Scotland 10/10

The accommodation was really cozy and comfortable. Great area to walk/cycle or just relax. Could do with new cushions for the settees as the ones there are past their best(no support). Other than that recommend this accommodation.

We were in love with Ben View from the moment we arrived and saw the spectacular mountain views from the back door. It’s a wonderfully clean and comfortable cottage with a great little fire place to curl up in front of after a full day of exploring the highlands. The location is perfect for hiking and exploring the amazing Glencoe as well as close to Fort William and Oban for all they have to offer. Great place would recommend to anyone who wants to fully experience this magnificent part of the Scottish Highlands.

This is a lovely warm clean place in the heart of the Highlands which is a perfect base to see all that it has to offer. Catriona is a friendly host who was prompt with queries and help. It is also close to Cuil Bay (2 miles) which is a hidden gem of a peaceful haven on the doorstep.

I've been in love with the Highlands since I first visited in 2003 as a teenager. So when we discussed our honeymoon and the fact my half Scottish husband had never been to Scotland, there was only one place I wanted to go! This house is stunning, clean and easy to use which is key when you've been outdoors all day. Facilities are spot on, haven't found a thing we need but don't have yet. The views and area is lovely, good walks on your doorstep. Very dog friendly, though our dog did find a way to escape the garden... that was our own fault for turning our back on her for two seconds! There is so much we wanted to do and see within a reasonable travelling distance. We would 100% recommend this lovely home from hom, and will definitely be returning ASAP. Thank you for helping us enjoy our first week of married life :)
