We have just arrived home after a beautifully relaxing week in the Loire valley. The accommodation was tastefully decorated to a very high standard, and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed by the lovely Alex who gave us a tour of the accommodation and pool area and gave tips on where to shop and local restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing days by the pool which was delightful, set in a walled garden with fruit trees and a vegetable patch and a view of the Chateau and Loire. We took our road bikes and had some glorious rides along perfectly signed cycle routes, stopping to admire the sunflower and vine filled views as well as, of course, a few cafes and bars! We would definitely return to the area and beautiful accommodation. A wonderful holiday!

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans la suite Cour Pavée du château. Le logement, au sein d'un ensemble dans une maison en pierres, est magnifique, conforme aux photos. Bien équipé dans la cuisine fonctionnelle, belle décoration et très propre. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Francis qui nous a livré de très bons conseils pour des balades à vélo dans la région et quelques adresses de restaurants. Le cadre environnant le château est exceptionnel, vue surplombant Loire et Vienne, jardins et parc entretenu. Espace piscine et sauna très agréable ! Le village de Candes-St-Martin est charmant, et à quelques minutes seulement de Montsoreau où l'on trouve quelques commerces de proximité. Excellente situation, entre Saumur, Chinon, Tours et Angers. Bravo et merci, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
