Lovely week in Cornwall only briefly dampened by the good old British weather.
Julie and Michael were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and their welcome was fantastic!
The cottage has everything you need for a base but the location is everything!! We were excited to find some of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall within a short drive away not to mention being able to see St Michael's Mount from the bedroom window.

We had a lovely stay at Hufflepuff Lodge. We were welcomed with a wonderful package of local goodies & a special treat for our little boy. The place has pretty much everything you would need for a home away from home stay. We found the location made it easy to access some beautiful spots around Cornwall & it was nice to come back at the end of the day to a comfy bed! Although we didnt meet the owners we had regular contact with them during our stay offering any help we might need. Definitely recommend!

From first to last it was all we could have hoped ...
From first to last it was all we could have hoped for. Welcome Pack to die for; the best we have ever had. Hufflepuff was the perfect self catering holiday destination for any age group. Michael and Julie were the perfect hosts for a perfect stay. The icing on the cake was the unexpected gifts when we left.

We loved our stay at the charming Hufflepuff Lodge...
We loved our stay at the charming Hufflepuff Lodge in Penzance. Michael and Julie went out of their way to make us comfortable and spoilt us with Cornish treats and lovely gifts! I had wanted to visit Cornwall ever since reading Enid Blyton's Malory Towers, in primary school, and they sweetly gave me a lovely set of Malory Towers stories, which was so thoughtful and heartwarming.
Michael really went above and beyond, and picked us up and dropped us off to the station, seeing us burdened down with 6 suitcases and our 10 & 12 year olds!
The lodge is clean, cozy and charming, with excellent facilities, and very close to the bus stop, so we were able to get around the whole place with minimal effort. Michael, even printed off bus schedules that proved very helpful!
The master bedroom is huge, and the kids loved their bedroom with twin beds and gorgeous views!
We would highly recommend this lovely property to all who visit Cornwall!

We stayed at the cottage for a week and had a deli...
We stayed at the cottage for a week and had a delightful time. There were plenty of goodies, flowers and a bottle of fizz waiting for us on arrival. The cottage is on the A30 but traffic noise was no issue though care is needed turning out of the drive. The location is perfect for exploring West Cornwall. The bathroom got a little steamy as the only ventilation was a window but that is a very minor quibble. All in all the cottage added wonderfully to a great trio. Thank you😁

My stay was everything it said it would be and eve...
My stay was everything it said it would be and everything I expected. The location was perfect for my plans to walk the western end of the southwest coast path. The bus stop is on the door step and buses serve all the main locations meaning travel was super easy.
Stayed for nearly a month and it became home from home.
Hosts where great.

We had the most wondrful family holiday at the Huf...
We had the most wondrful family holiday at the Hufflepuff lodge. Communication with Michael and Julie was brilliant prior to our stay and throughout. They sent us some great recommendations for nearby family friendly places. The accommodation was perfect, there was nothing they hadnt thought of. We used the bus stop outside the lodge everyday to go between Penzance and St Ives.
We were overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of the welcome gifts. We would definitely recommend this property and we will certainty be back. Many thanks for accommodating our first family holiday.

Hufflepuff Lodge was quite spacious with a huge bedroom. Perfect for the two of us. Ideal location to reach many places. We found it peaceful and relaxing.

Great Place & Perfect Location
This is our second stay at Hufflepuff it is pefect for exploring nearby St Ives, Penzance, Sennen and not to mention the beautiful beaches.
Has everything you could need lovely and spacious including a hamper of cornish treats on arrival highly recommend xx
