We had a great time this week. We had stayed at this holiday park before bit this time was much better. It was great to open the blinds once we got inside to find a brilliant view of the bay, the welcome pack was a great bonus after our early morning set off. The beds were ready made which was a real help. Parking spot was great, always had a space, shortest of walks to the shop, launderette, restaurant, arcade and entertainment. Lovely quiet walk down to the bay where the kids spent hours. We would definitely go back and miss it already. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

What a brilliant caravan we have just left after a week, truly was home from home nothing has been forgotten some things we wouldn't have remembered. Welcome pack was superb after all our travelling nice to sit on the decking seeing a brilliant view whilst enjoying a cuppa. Very handily situated from everything yet quiet and relaxing. Will most certainly be rebooting again.

The Burrowes was fully equipped with everything you could need, with lots of thoughtful added extras for adults and children alike, from a BBQ and coal, to Books, DVDs and games, buckets and spades and even picnic ware. There was nothing that we needed that we couldn't find! Fantastic! The static caravan is very cosy and welcoming, with some beautiful views and ideally centrally sited in the park. Upon arrival we had a breakfast hamper, information folder with lots of tourist leaflets and basic toiletries, and all beds made up on arrival for your stay. Winner! We are a family of 5, 2A, 3C, 14, 11, 8. We booked to stay for a weekend as a base to explore the IOW, and was perfect for us. I will be honest, anything more than a long weekend, where we would want to spend more time in the accomodation, and sadly the Burrowes wouldn't be big enough for us as a family. We never used any facilities on site so can't comment there, and could never park day or night in the said parking spot, but there is plenty of parking a short walk from the van. So not a problem for us. The standard of cleaning could of been better in my own personal opinion, eg, crockery, fridge etc, but easily sorted with cleaning products supplied. The added verandah and outdoor seating area was lovely to enjoy my morning coffee, just beware of the little acorns that fall off the tree above on your head or into your cup! 😂 The hosts were exceptionally helpful and very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to booking and once I had booked, so definitely would recommend as hosts👍 Overall, a very pleasant comfortable stay & would book again for a long weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Debbie's caravan, it was cosy and compact. Debbie has everything you need to bring normally, but don't need to with this caravan it really is home from home. Debbie has truly thought of everything! The caravan is central to the entertainment, swimming pool, shop, amusements, a great play park and basketball 🏀 nets and restaurant, it really is just minutes away. The beach is lovely and quiet and private. We were lucky with parking. Debbie leaves a small welcome basket of your first needs and that was brilliant. I would say the caravan is best suited to 2 adults and 4 children the single beds are ideal for kids. Great base for sight seeing too.

The Burrowes Caravan is super comfy and in a prime location with amazing views from the living room window. 10 min walk to the beach which is a pebbles and proper beach shoes with a good bottom are needed which you can purchase from the on site shop. The caravan is in a lovely shady position for the decking and for those that like a bit of sun the green out the front is ideal. We found all the staff to be so friendly and helpful, the only place we did not use during our break was the Dining area.we will return !

Great location of caravan.. Well equipped for a family of 4 & brilliant hosts!! Right opposite site facilities & not far from the ferry port..

We stayed for three nights. It was a struggle to find the place. No bus would go to the holiday park. We bought a 7 days bus ticket which cost us around 87 pound 3 child age 7,10 and 12 and 3 adult. Yes you have to pay for kids. Ask couple of bus drivers if buses goes near thorness bay and we was told yes. Took a bus from cowes to Newport. From Newport a bus driver informed us there are no bus that goes to thorness bay due to road are very tiny and dangerous. So from Newport we got a taxi to thorness bay holiday park which cost us around £16. The only issue was transports, paid for the bus for 7 days and we couldn't use it due to we had too take a taxi to the place everything when we wanted to go visit somewhere. Taxi drivers will not drop you on bus stop. Its very hard to find taxi with 7 seater. Some taxi drivers are rude. I recommend TJ taxi. The caravan was alright. As a family we required a little bit more space. However we were welcomed with a hampers which included tea, coffee, sugar, jams, milk and biscuits, which i found really cute. We couldn't find the main bin at the holiday park to throw rubbish. We ask couple of people working at the holiday park and they were not welcoming at all. As adults we did not enjoy as we wanted but the kids enjoyed themselves.

Caravan was too small for 8 people.barely can fit 6 people. Mattress were moving and falling so couldn't sleep at all.toilets were too small. We stayed in caravan before but never bad experience like this before.
