The property was extremely clean and very well maintained. It is obvious that hosts Albert and Yorleny take very good care of Casa De Oro. The home was spacious and great for a family gatherings. The setting is picturesque with direct beach access. The beach was almost like a private beach with minimal visitors on most days. The only difficulty we had which was on our part in not having gps and adequate international cell coverage made finding the address a challenge. Albert and his family went above expectations to assure we safely arrived and got settled in when we got lost getting there. Yorleny, Albert’s wife and his daughter acted as a concierge. They planned our outings, as well as to orchestrate taxi rides. In one instance they even drove with us to one of the events to show us the location. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely consider renting this property again.

This is a great property with a great location and Albert was a great host. We had a group of 13 and there was room for everyone. We had kids from ages 2-15 and 8 adults. With the beach and the pool, there was something for everyone. The location is somewhat remote but you have small restaurants and stores within 10 minutes. The beach was always quiet and the most people we saw was on a Sunday. There may have been 20 people within a half mile of us. Albert was great and was there to greet us on check in and also to see us out. He even brought us fresh fruit one day. Overall great experience if you want something a little away from the tourist traps.

Wonderful quiet location. The pool and ranchero are awesome, both benefiting from shade in the late afternoon. Comfortable houses and the newish Esterillos Center provides nearby groceries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Great beach and breezes , fun was had by all!

My family enjoyed a week at this beach front house. We got to take long walks on the beach, shore fish, visit nearby Rainmaker forest and Manuel Antonio National Park, and eat in some if the best restaurants around (go to the Don Toro Beach restaurant at sunset).

The accommodations we excellent for our two family group (4 adults and 4 kids). The beach is right out the front gate and amazing. W were in a low tourist location but Jaco is ~30 minutes north and other attractions are further south. Two suggestions, bring some beach towels and make sure to get basic cooking ingredients (oil, salt, sugar, etc) at the store in your way in. Thank you Albert and family for making our stay easy. We loved our week in CR.

Absolutely loved this house. The town is a little more remote but is still easily accessible to activities, stores and restaurants. While we didn’t use the pool much, the rancho was a big hit. There was always a nice breeze and everyone loves the swings. Albert was always quick to answer the phone and answer any questions that we had. They come to check on the pool daily so the pool was in great shape. We had a sloth right in the trees at the house, which was awesome. We also loved the town center for pizza and grocery shopping. Los Alemendros in Oeste is a great place to eat too. Would definitely stay here again.

Traumhafte Lage der Villa, nur 50 m vom Strand entfernt. Pool und sonstige Einrichtungsgegenstände entsprechen vollinhaltlich dem Inserat. Allrad-PKW von Vorteil - auch für eigene kleine Erkundungsfahrten in den Regenwald. Flora und Fauna in der Villenumgebung sensationell. El lugar muy limpio y hermoso, tiene un rancho frente al mar que es un súper plus… pasamos mucho tiempo ahí, los chicos disfrutaron la piscina tiene un tamaño perfecto para grandes y niños, en lo único por lo que debo quejarme fue por el desperfecto del aire acondicionado en la primera planta, ya que fui de las que dormí ahí y si hacía mucho calor en las noches pero solamente eso… nuestra estadía fue súper linda y pasamos un buen rato en familia

We stayed in three different homes during our month stay in Costa Rica and this one was by far the nicest. Albert has fixed up the property and it is immaculate. The plumbing was great so the bathrooms didn’t smell, which was the case in the other homes we stayed in. There are no sugar ants in the kitchen which was another encounter we had in one of the houses. The pool is pristine and well maintained. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and right by the beach with a lovely rancho to watch the sunset from. We loved this home and if you are looking in this area for a large group (we had 13 people) I would definitely recommend staying here.
