The cottage is warm and confortable and very well equiped. The village and surrounding área is lovely and there are lots of interesting things to see and do nearby. The only downside would be for people limited mobility that the bathroom is on the ground floor with a very uneven steep staircase. Also you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other. Otherwise it's perfect!

This is a very nice little cottage. It has everything to make you stay memorable: a fully equipped kitchen, a nice TV with lots of programmes and well described guide on what to do around. The cottage itself is very clean and has all the necessary bedding. Carol the owner is very helpful and kind. She always answers to any query promptly. My family and I had a wonderful time.

There was everything you could need in the cottage. Situated in an ideal location at the heart of the village. Having a sofa bed was a bonus as it would have been difficult for me to negotiate the stairs.

The cottage is right in the middle of Stogursey, very easy to find, even at night. We - 2 adults, 2 children and 1 toddler - stayed for 4 nights at the end of 2021 and start of 2022. The cottage was clean, warm and comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. We had enough space in the lounge for all of us to spend some great time together as a family in the evenings after our daily excursions in the area. At nights we all slept exceptionally well. The beds were comfy and the mattress just right for us. In the evening you will hear some cars pass by your windows, but the nights get very very silent and we all slept really well each night and late into the morning. The village has a few convenience shops (very close at hand), and is relatively close to a couple of bigger towns - Bridgwater and Minehead - where you can find pretty much anything.

Lime Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable with one double and one twin-bedded adjoining bedrooms. It has an adjoining garden space that compares a little unfavourably with its neighbours, but there is also table and chair space immediately outside. The village has shops catering for most small needs, although the Greyhound was disappointingly short of real ale! There is good access to the coast, Quantocks and Exmoor, so is ideally positioned.

Thank you Gary for choosing Lime Cottage & for your review. The Lime Cottage garden is lucky to be unshaded. We often enjoy a sunny afternoon and evening in the secluded garden using the BBQ. . The brand new Landlady who has very recently taken over after Covid will have more real ale up and running soon, for my sake too.

Lime Cottage is not just attractive on the outside. It's a cosy and comfortable cottage inside, and had everything we needed - and more! It was beautifully clean and has a fully equipped kitchen and a compact but well fitted bathroom. We had a minor problem with the TV, which was sorted out immediately so we were able to watch England win their way to the Euro final mid week! We had a great week in a lovely village and found some good restaurants in the local area, which was a definite bonus.

Dear John and Ann, Thank you for choosing Lime Cottage for your holiday. We are glad the replacement of the TV did not affect your stay and are grateful for your patience and kind review. There are certainly some lovely food venues locally which we update regularly on our recommendation sheets.

About the neighbourhood
Pronounced Stog'ursey the village is a traditional slice of rural England. It is an ideal base to explore Exmoor, the Quantock hills, North Devon coast and countryside. The Quantock Hills offer excellent walking routes. Also, magnificent views over to Wales, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. The poet Samuel Coleridge & William Wordsworth gained inspiration from the area. Coleridge lived in nearby Nether Stowey where his cottage is open to visit. The Quantock Hills offer excellent road & mountain biking with stunning scenery. If this sounds a little too energetic there are plenty of old villages, pubs and historic towns to visit also day trips to Exmoor, Barnstable, Cheddar Gorge, the beach at Minehead & much more!!
