Relaxing Summer Break
Booked via Trip Advisor, we stayed for 11 nights Thursday - Sunday in July. Wanted to be near to pubs, walking without driving and my wife's elderly parents who live locally. Owners were very approachable, dog friendly and after initial greeting, only saw them to say farewell. Wifi worked very well and delighted to see that also had Sky Sports as part of the package (Cricket World Cup Final!). Cottage was well resourced although the lounge seating is not the most comfortable, Surrounding gardens are beautiful and secured by field boundaries for dogs. Only issue would be if you want a private area for your dog to wander, as they can wander anywhere through the owner's vast gardens. Seating area at the edge of the owner's garden is accessed via a back gate to the accommodation, so you have to carry everything through the front door and then to the non adjacent garden. We were provided with a BBQ, so able to invite closeby family to join us and witness the fantastic sunsets. Walks are accessed via a path through the woodland and then down into Langford or up and over the hills. Plenty of pubs within walking distance; 5 mile round trip covers 3 pubs on the same circular route! At the time, the local paths were overgrown and daily interaction with stinging nettles and brambles was guaranteed!

Perfect peaceful
Quality of work on cottage is of very high standard, loads to keep you occupied both inside the cottage. The location and surrounding ground to the property. Owner both welcomed us and on last day. Self entrance for both gate and cottage key safe Thanks for a lovely stay hope to come back next year

Sheeptastic!
We have stayed in many UK holiday cottages and can honestly say this is one of the best - with the bonus of being dog friendly. Great walks to the rear of the cottage through the fields, full of very friendly sheep. Excellent Thursday quiz night at the pub in Lower Langford, accompanied by ginormous burgers! Park on the beach at Weston and enjoy the dog friendly stretches of beach. The pier at Clevedon was great, enjoy the view and a coffee at the cafe at the end. Browse the 12 inch vinyl racks and eclectic comic shop at hippified Glasto. And finish it off with a steam train ride down the East Somerset railway - visit the footplate if you are nice to the guard! If it is cold the mountains of smouldering coal will scorch your cockles.

The Perfect location, host, grounds = a perfect stay
Two night stay here in this lovely spacious conversion. It’s within secure grounds so there was no worry of our dog escaping. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Right beside the property is a field leading to the woods where you can walk for hours - very peaceful. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. Hosting a lovely big bed!! There are TVs in both rooms - Sky TV downstairs along with a DVD player. A selection of dvds, books, games available which was lovely. The owners have an adorable Labrador, some super friendly sheep and the cutest goat, on site, which our dog loved meeting. We would definitely visit again, as we felt so welcome.

Wonderful stay
Our second visit to this lovely individual dog friendly barn conversion. The owners are on site and very helpful ensuring the accommodation has everything you need. Spacious bedroom with super king sized bed. Lovely bathroom, plenty of towels. Fully equipped kitchen. TV/DVD player. Plenty of outdoor space for our 2 dogs, the grounds are gated. Walk through the field to woods to explore for miles with views towards Wales. Great not to use the car to go exploring. Good pubs a short drive away. I would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful cottage and surroundings
Lovely cottage. Well equipped kitchen although there are pubs nearby providing good food, there is a fish and chip takeaway just up the road. Downstairs is a large bathroom with a walk in shower and big fluffy towels. The spacious bedroom is upstairs with a super king sized bed and a TV. Dog friendly (we had 2) with plenty of open secure space at the cottage and great walks through the woods behind, you can walk for miles with great views. Owners very friendly and helpful. We will be booking another break here.

Fabulous break
We thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at Anneth Lowen. It was comfortable, clean and peaceful. The accommodation is perfect, the nearby walks delightful and the sheep very friendly. John, Susie & Lola all made us feel very welcome, showed us the ropes, gave excellent tips on nearby walks and provided an ample supply of logs for the burner. They then left us to our own devices which was great. Will return when we can. S & N

Cosy, peaceful cottage.
We had a four night stay in the cottage which we found to be clean and very well equipped. The cottage sits in the grounds of the owners house, the owner Jon was there to show us around and give advice on the surrounding area. The location is perfect to explore the local area and peaceful and relaxing to come home to. Walks up through the woods from the cottage reward you with stunning views across the Mendips and over to the Severn Estuary. All very enjoyable.
